Alney Island Mosaic A1
This meant creating a very abstract and free flowing piece that could capture the essence of the site without going into too much detail and being too literal.
The main characteristic of the area was the clear urban rural divide through and around the site which creates a clear line. Therefore, we split the page in two and used bright colours, especially the green, to represent the natural side and the grey newspaper to represent the urban.
Added tissue paper shows the vegetation dense areas, the sand represent the quarry, the string is the railway, and the colourful paper is the main roads.
